Wedding ceremonies at Prospect Estate and Villas can be held at the Prospect Chapel, in the Great House gardens or at any of the five villas overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It is a unique wedding location for anyone wanting an Ocho Rios wedding in Jamaica.
The chapel at Prospect Plantation is non-denominational and was built in 1970 by Sir Harold Mitchell, British businessman and Conservative politician. The chapel is minimalistic in its decor and is constructed entirely of stone and hardwood harvested from the plantation. The Prospect Chapel has seating capacity for one hundred and twenty guests inside and an additional eighty guests in the wings. Couples are given the freedom to arrange their wedding in any way that they see fit as long as their plans are in accordance with the maximum guest list capacities.
